Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

A must-have for every cook. Usually found on every pizzeria table in the country to add some spice to your favorite slice of pizza. Crushed red pepper flakes are usually made up of a blend of different dried chile flakes, and could contain any combination of ancho, bell, cayenne, or other dried red peppers. These chile flakes are about a 3-4 in overall heat level, and add a pleasant note of heat to any recipe.
